Based out of Sonoma and Marin counties, The Ific has been playing all over the Bay Area for the past few years and has a reputation as a fierce live act. Combining elements of power pop, garage rock, surf, roots, and punk, their sound is at once fuzzy and melodic.
Led by singer and vocalist Jeff Jewhurst on guitar, John Vignault, bass; Christian Stark, drums; and Ferenc Dobronyi, guitar; the members have toured with The Outta Sorts, Frankie and The Pool Boys, Pollo Del Mar, The Woggles, The Vendettas, and many other Bay Area garage and punk bands. Current bassist, Shane VanDyke, plays in Bomboras and was in Legendary Invisible Men.
Recent shows have included gigs with Boss Martians, Tremolo Beer Gut, Sinister Six, Hot Laundry, The Losin’ Streaks, and The Boars.
